We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Lawyer to join our team on a contract basis, providing the flexibility to grow and manage your practice in a supportive, professional environment.
Position Summary:
As an Associate Lawyer at Pax Law Corporation, you will work as an independent contractor, handling your cases and clients while benefiting from the resources and support of an established firm. You will retain 50% of the net billings, which includes billed and collected fees from clients, minus any soft and hard costs. We offer a private office, administrative and paralegal support, access to cutting-edge legal software, and additional resources to support your practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload independently across various practice areas.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide quality legal advice to clients.
- Attend client meetings, court appearances, and other legal proceedings as required.
- Work collaboratively with the firm’s team members, ensuring high standards of client service.
- Handle billing and collections for your client matters.

Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a law practice.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
