Diba Ferdowsi

Diba has been a valued member of our legal team since 2021. As a dedicated paralegal, she primarily works on judicial review and mandamus matters. She assists with preparing documents for applications for leave and judicial review and works closely with Dr. Mortazavi on these complex cases. She also prepares mandamus applications and demand letters for clients whose applications have been awaiting a decision for an unreasonably long time, ensuring timely action and advocacy.

In addition to her litigation work, Diba supports clients with their humanitarian and compassionate (H&C) permanent residence applications. Her attention to detail and compassionate approach help clients present their personal circumstances clearly and persuasively.

Diba holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the United Kingdom and is currently on the path to becoming a licensed counsellor in Canada. Her strong background in mental health, combined with her legal experience, makes her particularly skilled at connecting with clients and supporting them through challenging legal processes. She is fluent in English and a native Farsi speaker, allowing her to assist a diverse range of clients with ease and cultural understanding.

Outside of work, Diba enjoys reading and exploring new ideas. Her thoughtful nature, dedication to helping others, and multidisciplinary background make her a deeply valued member of our team.
